This Privacy Policy explains what information Openza ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and app, and how we use it. By using Openza, you agree to the practices described here.
Files you upload are stored temporarily on our server only for as long as your browser tab or session is open. When you close the tab or browser (detected via a periodic "still here" signal from your browser), your uploaded files — and their records in our database — are automatically and permanently deleted, typically within about a minute of closing. We do not back up, retain, or review the contents of your files beyond what's needed to display them back to you while your session is active.
If you create a shareable link for a file, that link (and the file it points to) remains accessible until it expires (up to 24 hours, or sooner if you set it) or your session ends, whichever comes first. If you set a PIN on a share link, we store a one-way hashed version of that PIN — not the PIN itself.
To offer a free trial without requiring you to create an account, we generate a random device identifier stored in your browser (via local storage, a cookie, and a local browser database) the first time you visit. We use this identifier, along with a basic device fingerprint (browser/screen/timezone information), to track how many free uploads a given browser has used. This does not identify you personally and is not linked to your name or contact details unless you create an account.
If you subscribe, we ask for your email address to create an account and verify it with a one-time code. Your account is linked to one authorised device at a time, so that a single paid subscription can't be shared across a group.
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. We do not receive or store your full card number, UPI PIN, or other sensitive payment credentials — these are handled directly by Razorpay under its own privacy and security policies. We do store your email address, subscription status, renewal date, and a record of successful payment amounts (for receipts and support purposes).
We keep an anonymous, aggregate log of activity (such as "a file of type X was uploaded" or "a file was downloaded") to understand overall usage and improve the app. This log is not tied to your identity, your specific files, or your device once your session ends.
We use cookies, browser local storage, and a local browser database (IndexedDB) to remember your device identifier, session, and preferences (like dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or files with third parties for marketing purposes. Limited data is shared with:
Our administrators can view aggregate usage statistics and subscription/account records (email, subscription status, payment amounts) through an internal, password-protected dashboard. They cannot see the contents of your uploaded files after your session ends, since those are already deleted.
You can request deletion of your account and associated billing records at any time by emailing mksyssoftwares@gmail.com. Since files are already deleted automatically when your session ends, there is typically nothing further to remove on that front.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
